What the answer is based on
- Register: Handelsregister (Kamer van Koophandel, KVK) · official site
- Identifier: KVK number (8 digits); by number only (the free KVK open dataset has no names); a name returns the kvk.nl search link and GLEIF LEI holders.
- Data source used by Mandate: KVK Handelsregister Open Dataset Basis Bedrijfsgegevens (Kamer van Koophandel) · publisher documentation
- Licence or reuse terms: CC BY 4.0, source: Kamer van Koophandel (KVK Open Dataset Basis Bedrijfsgegevens, High Value Dataset). Not a legal extract; for legal certainty use an official KVK extract (uittreksel).
- Free and without a key: KVK Open Dataset Basis Bedrijfsgegevens (High Value Dataset, CC BY 4.0) gives basic data for BV and NV legal entities by KVK number (legal form, active, start date, insolvency code, postcode region, SBI activities); no name, address or people. Name search and full extracts need KVK's paid APIs or kvk.nl.
